Game 1 

Coopersville wins 10-2

Coopersville Broncos  Varsity easily dispatched Wyoming 10-2 on Monday

Coopersville Broncos  Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Coopersville Broncos  Varsity.

Coopersville Broncos  Varsity scored five runs in the fifth inning.  Ryan Baker, Ben McDonald, and Dylan Merlo each had RBIs in the big inning.

Wes Near earned the victory on the mound for Coopersville Broncos  Varsity. The righty lasted six and a third innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out 11.  Josh Finkler threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Coopersville Broncos  Varsity collected eight hits.  Finkler and McDonald all had multiple hits for Coopersville Broncos  Varsity.  Finkler went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Coopersville Broncos  Varsity in hits.  McDonald led Coopersville Broncos  Varsity with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.

Coopersville Wins 3-2

Both teams were strong on the mound Monday, but Coopersville Broncos  Varsity defeated Wyoming 3-2. Coopersville Broncos  Varsity pitchers allowed just five hits to Wyoming.

Coopersville Broncos  Varsity got things started in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Coopersville Broncos  Varsity.

Josh Finkler got the win for Coopersville Broncos  Varsity. The pitcher surrendered two runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one.  Jason Emelander threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Ryan Baker and Ben McDonald each managed one hit to lead Coopersville Broncos  Varsity.  Coopersville Broncos  Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Dylan Merlo had the most chances in the field with eight.  Coopersville Broncos  Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. McDonald led the way with two.
