The Broncos traveled to Grand Rapids to face off against the state-ranked 7-1 Cougars of Catholic Central. The Broncos were down 18-15 after the first quarter and 33-28 at the half. Coopersville outscored GRCC 16-15 in the 3rd quarter to be down just 4 heading into the 4th quarter, after trading baskets at the beginning of the quarter, the Broncos went cold from the floor, scoring just free throws over the last 5 minutes and the Cougars slowly pulled away, winning 70-56. Ethan Coady and Jack Castenholz led Coopersville with 14 points, Ethan also had 11 rebounds. Bryan Moore set a career high with 10 points and 10 rebounds, Blake Stewart contributed 8 points. Coopersville falls to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the Blue. They are in action again Tuesday night at Sparta.
