Announcements and Important Events
Hi Bronco Community,
We will be changing how somethings are done starting in the fall of 2018-2019. Please see the items below for more information.
1) Student-Athletes must have a Bronco Card completed and signed Mrs. Moffett or Mrs. Bush prior to the first day of practice/tryouts. The athletic office will be open from July 31 - Aug 3 from 9:00 am-noon for all fall athletes to get their information (physicals & participation fee) handed in. The athletic office will also be open on August 6th & 7th. (please be sure to call before coming on these dates since the office hours have not been set yet) Winter and Spring athletes don't need to come this week. They will get their Bronco Cards prior to the start of each season. Student-athlete will NOT be allowed to do anything the first day of practice/tryouts unless the Bronco card is given to the coach signed by the athletic office. The following items are listed on the bronco card and must be on file prior to the first day of each sport tryout/practice.
-participation fee paid (if a student doesn't make the team, it will be reimbursed to the parent)
-current & complete physical dated after April 15, 2018
-attend one of the mandatory athlete meetings listed below
-concussion form on file in main office
2) If your student is planning to play a sport at any time during the 2018-2019 school year, he/she is required to attend one of the following mandatory athlete meeting dates with a parent/guardian. At this time the meeting will be held at Center Stage unless it is under construction during the dates below. If it is under construction, we will be in the main gym. We will have a make-up date the first part of August. The date will be communicated once it is set.
-Sophomores 6:30 pm
Note: You may attend any of the time if your specific designated time doesn't work. They are only separated by class to make sure we don't have zero show up for one of the times and for space purposes. If parents have more than one student-athlete feel free to bring them all to the same meeting. I don't want parents sitting through multiple meetings that are the same.
3) Please remember the summer dead period is July 2nd - July 8th. Athletes are not to have any contact with Coopersville High School coaches. This is a rest time for all student-athletes.
Thank you & have a great summer!!
